Youth Tryon Creek Watershed Tour Volunteer
During Spring Break, PRSG will be hosting youth-focused workshops on educating refugee youth about their new environment with the goal of creating a sense of belonging in their new homes. There will be 10-12 participants per session.
Volunteers will assist by providing transportation to participants and by helping facilitate activities.
The Youth Tryon Creek Watershed Tour is on April 7 with pick-up at 9:30 AM and drop off at 2:30.
Volunteers will pick up youth participants from their homes in SE Portland at 9:30 AM and will drop them off at the Tryon Creek location by 10 AM. Volunteers have the option to stay for the program but is not required. Then, volunteers will pick youth participants up from the Tryon Creek location at 2 pm and drop them back off at their homes by 2:30.
Volunteers have the option to use the PRSG Van which can hold up to 12 passengers.
Volunteer Qualifications:
-Have completed a background check through PRSG
-Have a valid Driver’s License
-Spanish language skills preferred
