Crafty Wonderland Holiday Market

We are so happy to be included in Crafty Wonderland this Holiday season. It is one way we support our community members grow their business skills. Our community members are a couple of bakers selling their hand made sweets and pastries. You do not want to miss it :)
Pre-show ticketed shopping event on December 13th, 5-9 PM
Normal ticketed days on December 14th and 15th, 10 AM-5 PM.
PRSG Community Aid is providing the space to a couple of our community members (Hind and Khadijeh) that are bakers selling their hand made sweets and pastries - similar to previous years.
There will be one baker each day with a couple of volunteers to support them as well promoting PRSG's work and answering questions about the org.
PRSG Community Aid focuses on direct assistance to the most most vulnerable members of our community through housing, utility assistance, emergency financial aid funds, and economic mobility opportunities.
2024 Cultural Xchange Festival
Learn about PRSG and other resources in our community.
Our organization will be included in Lake Grove's Cultural Xchange festival this year. This festival is organized by the city of Lake Oswego. Channeling the feeling of a bustling market abroad, this multicultural festival features traditional dance and music performances, artisan vendors, food vendors, nonprofits, and more!

PRSG is hosting three Play Streets Events this summer! Play Streets is a pop-up space for inter-generational play aiming to bring previous residents and newcomers together. Come out to NE Roselawn between 72nd and Cully Ave on July 10th. Games, fun, food, and music for the whole family!
Peace & Unity - Back to School Event
In Partnership with Y.O.U.T.H. Youth Organized and United to Help and Big Brothers Big Sisters Columbia Northwest - PRSG Community Education team is hosting this Peace and Unity - back to school summer bash event this summer. Free school supplies, food, music, haircuts, bouncy house and more.

PRSG will be tabling at the Armory for August First Thursday featuring a DJ set by Latin American Indigenous DJ Lapaushi !
This event is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Guests in attendance will receive complimentary beer from Deschutes Brewery while supplies last!

College Applications Summer Program
PRSG is hosting a summer college application workshop at the office! Students receive 1-on-1 mentorship on their college application process, including FAFSA! Program runs from July 3rd to August 21st, contact Alex at alex@pnwrsg.org to register & volunteer!
Kindness Garden Summer Program

community garden! The program is open to middle
school and high schoolers. Students will learn about

World Refugee Day Walk - Beaverton
PRSG invites you to walk in walk in solidarity of refugees, asylum seekers, and other displaced peoples around the world! Event starts at 11 AM and will circle The Round in downtown Beaverton.

PRSG will be tabling at the annual Beaverton Volunteer Fair in the city library! Come by, say hi, and get some shwag from us and other organizations!
June First Thursday with Jermaine
PRSG will be tabling at June First Thursday at the Armory, featuring a live musical performance by Portland-based singer/songwriter Jermaine, lead singer for the Kinky Brothers! Known for building grooves with his loop pedal as the sound bed for his guitar-lead songs, he shares themes about life and love in all of his work.
There will also be art gallery openings in the PGE Gallery and Ellyn Bye Studio Lobby, community partner tables with Art Larger Than Me, Flow In The City, Pueblo Unido PDX, and complimentary select beer provided by Deschutes Brewery.

Job Search Workshop for Newcomers
PSVP only - The overall goal of this workshop is to help Portland newcomer individuals learn how to use job search sites in order to find various job opportunities. email Megan@pdxrsg.org to RSVP.
We will be conducting the workshop in English with Haitian Creole and (hopefully) Spanish interpretation available as well.
PRSG at the Capital
Join us at the Capitol. PRSG, in collaboration with local CBOs, is actively mobilizing support for House Bill 4159 as our policy proposal undergo its first public hearing at the Capitol on Monday, February 5th, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
